WHO IS THE
WATER LADY?
In 1988, Madison County native Linda Knox founded a little water metering service company called If It’s Water near downtown Asheville, North Carolina. Her origins were quite humble, personally servicing her customers on a door-to-door basis. Being a little out of the ordinary that she was the only woman in her trade, customers got accustomed to wanting to “talk to the Water Lady about their water.” The name stuck. Since then, If It's Water grew into a formidable organization providing utility audits to North Carolina’s blossoming residential and commercial real estate industry. Since its inception, If It's Water has also expanded its services to include lab analysis, meter installations, utility billing and the same down-to-earth customer service that distinguished If It’s Water from the rest.
ABOUT IF IT'S WATER AND MORE
We began operation in 1988 in the state of North Carolina to provide numerous services for all types of water distribution systems throughout the state.
Client Base includes: Churches, Housing Developments, Mobile Home Parks, Apartment Complexes, School Systems, Food Services and also the private sector.

- Water Meter Reading

- Collect and Deposit Revenue for water system customers on owners behalf
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for regulatory agencies

- All water samples are analyzed by our subcontracted state-certified lab.
